Supposedly I am a cynic, but in reality I am a pretty chill gal. I dig indie alternative/soul/hip-hop, films, pop culture, novels, newspapers, geek things, sex, witty conversations, and the list goes on. I'm always told I'm not your average black girl, and I'm not sure if I should be offended or actually flattered. I'm usually pretty offended.

I think Diana Ross is fabulous, but lets be honest no one sings Home better than Stephanie Mills…one of the most underrated soul singers out there. That woman has a range that’s out of this world. If you don’t listen to anything else this woman has produce, go listen to the original soundtrack for The Wiz Broadway’s production and just be blown away by how beautiful Home is. Mills, in my eyes, is a legend.
