Not Your Average Black Woman

Supposedly I am a cynic, but in reality I am a pretty chill gal. I dig indie alternative & folk & soul music, films, pop culture, novels, newspapers, geek things, sex, witty conversations, and the list goes on. I'm always told I'm not your average black girl, and I'm not sure if I should be offended or actually flattered. I'm usually more offended.

My name's Bianca a 21 year-old college student at SUNY Purchase. A journalism in the making, and a poet by night.

I'm also an editorial intern at Madame Noire and I help run their Tumblr.
